Tractor Pulling features several competition classes, giving different types of tractors a chance to compete. Learn more about each class and the requirements tractors must meet.

Modified agricultural tractors.
Up to 4 turbo units are allowed.
Internal parts may be replaced, but the engine block and gearbox must be original.
Power: From 150 hp → up to 1500 hp.

Within the Modified category, there are different subclasses to compete in. Each class has specific qualifications that must be met to be classified.
Custom-built tractors with extremely powerful engines.

Can have up to 6 V8 engines or multiple V12s.

Often built on custom frames.

The same tractor can compete in multiple classes by adding/removing weight or engines.
Classes:

Garden Puller | 650 kg – The smallest class. Smaller sled.

Mini Puller | 950 kg – Small but powerful. Smaller sled.

Modified 2.5T | 2,500 kg – Powerful home-built tractors.

Modified 3.5T | 3,500 kg – Up to multiple V8/V12 engines.

Modified 4.5T | 4,500 kg – Power up to 5,000 hp.
